Born and raised in Bowling Green, and calling Glasgow, KY, home for 17 years, Jeff has a strong sense of community in the Southern Kentucky area.
Jeff graduated from Bowling Green High School in 1988 and from the University of Kentucky in 1992. After graduation, with an eye on the road less traveled, Jeff moved to Nelson County to oversee what was essentially a start-up, large-scale cattle operation. Over the next five years, a small herd of mixed breed cattle on 200 acres grew into a 900-acre, 350-broad cattle operation with feeding interests in three states. It was also during these five years on the farm that he met his future wife Betsy. In the fall of 1997, the decision was made to operate the farm on a partnership basis with an adjoining land owner, and Jeff moved to Glasgow where he and Betsy married. After working briefly in the business, Jeff and Betsy purchased Glasgow Ice Company., a small packaged ice manufacturing and distribution operation covering six counties. During this time, Jeff earned an MBA from Western Kentucky University, and their daughter Wells was born.
In January of 2015, after growing Glasgow Ice Company to serve 19 counties in Kentucky and in neighboring Tennessee, Jeff sold the company to pursue an interest in auctioneering and commercial real estate.
Jeff would most like to use his years of business experience and knowledge of the local markets to help clients meet their most complex and challenging real estate needs.
Jeff and his family currently reside in Glasgow, KY, where he remains active in the community serving as Secretary of the Glasgow Electric Plant Board and attending the First Christian Church. Jeff’s hobbies, when time permits are fly-fishing on the Cumberland River and pursuing Kentucky’s native Bobwhite quail with his Llewellin setter Belle.
